         Re:   David Berkowitz Journal Book

Dear Mrs. Cusack:

I am writing to you with regard to the David Berkowitz

Journal/Book which is in the process of being published.

I think it is important that I send to you a copy of the

Publishing Agreement that was signed by both myself and

Lawrence Jordan of Morning Star Communications of New York

City.

I believe there was some incorrect information

presented to the public and to the Crime Victims Board

by the media. But both the publisher and I have every

intention to fully comply with Executive Law 632a.

I have no desire to financially profit from my past

crimes, and I am more than willing to provide whatever

financial compensation that becomes available from the

sale of this book to my victims.

Therefore I have taken the liberty to enclose a copy

of the Publishing Agreement.  Please allow your legal staff

to go over this document.  And if you have any further

questions, I would be more than willing to answer them.

Be advised, however, that certain portions of the

Agreement may be changed or modified as time goes on.

But the part concerning profits being designated to

the NYS Crime Victims Board will not.

I hope this information will be helpful.  I am

putting the name and address of my legal counselor at

the bottom of this page.

                                  Very truly yours,

                                  David Berkowitz
